THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS: COLLECTOR’S EDITION – August 26th
It’s funny. I have been waiting for about five years or more for Disney and Co. to finally re-release this movie onto DVD, as the only way to find it now is on eBay or somewhere used (if you’re lucky enough to find one, that is). And now, after all the waiting, it looks like the wait is almost over and it’s finally here. Yes, I’m stoked. But the quest for snagging a truly limited edition DVD of the flick is now over. And while that’s awesome (this new collector’s edition is packed with all sorts of goodies), it’s also kind of sad. How I’ll miss the days of searching used DVD bins and scouring eBay for my chance to own the coolest holiday hybrid movie of all time. But on the other hand… hooray! The wait / search is finally over!

GHOST WHISPERER SEASON 3 – September 2nd
Jennifer Love Hewitt is hot… so I’m not sure what she’s doing gracing this cover with about 60 pounds worth of eye shadow and make-up on. She looks like a clown or a $30 whore, not a full-blown hottie! While I appreciate the angle of her cans, the rest of this cover is just a mess. Is all that crap in the background really necessary? Hard to believe a big studio would release a DVD like this… but then again, it’s for GHOST WHISPERER, a show I’ve never seen, and to tell you the truth, didn’t think was still on! With a cover like this, it won’t be on for much longer…

THE SCORPION KING 2: RISE OF THE WARRIOR – TBA
I’m just sitting here in shock. Are they serious? I know 300 rocked, but is ripping it off so blatantly really a good idea? And is a sequel to a so-so spin-off movie really necessary? I guess I should just be happy it didn’t make it to the big screen, and stayed STD where it belongs. You know what also makes me happy? This franchise is giving wrestlers who want to be actors jobs… without movies like this, they’d have to stick to acting in the ring, and not on the screen. Can’t wait to see when and what this release will have instore for us.

BLOOD AND SEX NIGHTMARE –August 5th – Because the cover leads me to believe it might have a splash of sex, nudity, and blood… what more do you need?
EVIL BEHIND YOU –July 22nd – Because birds are creepy, and there’s enough here to creep the shite outta me.
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2 – August 5th – Because I love the 80s, and I also love when Jason whacks the guy in the wheelchair in the face, rolling him down a few flights of stairs–definitely best kill in the whole movie.
