Godzilla crashes in on some casting news

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Apparently Legendary Pictures' GODZILLA is still casting as word has come in that THE WOLVERINE's Ken Yamamura (pictured right), Raj K. Bose (BATTLESHIP), and Christian Tessier (BATTLEFIELD: EARTH) have all joined the ranks in fighting the big bastard known as Godzilla! And based on the concept teaser we saw a few weeks ago, they're certainly going to need all the help they can get in bringing the monster down!

They will join the previously announced Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Richard T. Jones, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, David Strathairn, Patrick Sabongui, Yuki Morita, Brian Markinson, Juliette Binoche, Akira Takarada, Victor Rasuk, C.J. Adams, and Ken Watanabe.

An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster hero against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Gareth Edwards directs the film from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham. Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni produce with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher serve as executive producers alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira. The film is set to crash into theaters on May 16, 2014.
