I still haven't watched a single episode of Netflix's anthology series Black Mirror, actually I haven't even watched a single minute of an episode, but I know the show is popular and the recently released fourth season seemed to be very well-received, so this news doesn't come as any surprise to me:

Netflix has announced that Black Mirror has been renewed for a fifth season.

Created and written by Charlie Brooker,

Black Mirror is an anthology series that taps into our collective unease with the modern world, with each stand-alone episode a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia leading to an unforgettable – and sometimes unsettling – conclusion. Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm – a plasma screen; a monitor; a Smartphone – a Black Mirror reflecting our 21st Century existence back at us.

Brooker executive produces the series with Annabel Jones.

Along with the announcement that Black Mirror will be back for another season, Netflix released the short and simple video embedded below.

Black Mirror is a show that I fully intend to watch at some point, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. So much entertainment to consume, so little time.
