Will you survive the prototype gameplay footage for Friday the 13th?

If you're a big gamer, today is your lucky day! In honor of reaching their Kickstarter goal and in celebration of Friday the 13th, the makers of FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME have released a sneak peek at some pre alpha/prototype gameplay footage. Please keep in mind that the graphics are in their very very early stages, so don't take it to mean the video in any way reflects what the game is actually going to look like (thank goodness).

However, this is a very rare glimpse into the inner workings of an in-development game as well as a small taste of the glory of the soon to be reborn Camp Crystal Lake. Just be warned… It's got a death curse.

Friday the 13th: The Game is an online, asymmetric multiplayer experience where one player will assume the role of Jason Voorhees against seven other players assuming the roles of camp counselors trying to survive the night.

The game is projected to come out in the fall of 2016, and even if it gets delayed it will certainly arrive before the notoriously beleagured new film. There's still a couple of hours left on the Kickstarter, if you want to pay it a visit and attempt to reach the strech goal of a Single Player Survival Challenge Mode.
