Interviews: Gal Gadot, Zach Galifianakis, Jon Hamm & Isla Fisher on Joneses

In the new comedy KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES, a suburban couple becomes obsessed with the strange behavior of their new neighbors. Directed by Greg Mottola, the film features serious on-screen talent with Gal Gadot, Isla Fisher, Zach Galifianakis  and Jon Hamm, as well as Maribeth Monroe and Matt Walsh. Featuring a new mix of spy caper and humor, it has a little bit of action, and a ton of jokes to keep audiences rooting for our unlikely heroes.

We recently had the honor of speaking to the cast, which included a very unappetizing barbecue with the terrific Maribeth Monroe and Matt Walsh. Matt was going to give me a dollar if I ate one of the old hot dogs, but he soon took pity that it might not end well. The two also discussed working on the film with such funny people and what they have coming up, including the latest seasons of Workaholics for Monroe and Veep for Walsh.

This was my first time meeting both Zach and Jon, and I couldn’t have enjoyed the experience any more than I did. We talked about living on a cul-de-sac - Mr. Hamm actually did live on one - and Zach talked about what he does whenever there is a film crew shooting in his neighborhood. And as an aside, I have to say just how damn cool Mr. Galifianakis is. When I was waiting for my next interview, he came by and offered to get me a drink! And most importantly, he actually did bring me one.

Next up I had the pleasure of sitting across from both Isla Fisher and Gal Gadot. Not only are they both absolutely stunning, they were irresistibly funny and charming. Gal discussed taking on a role like this, as well as playing a character named Diana Prince; you know, Wonder Woman. Isla opened up about being a mom and playing one as well, plus working with all these talented and hilarious people. What a terrific collection of funny people to chat with.

KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES will be moving in this Friday at a theatre near you.
