Release date roundup: Hanks, Apatow, Bourne Legacy, Dark Tower, Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter

If you like to plan your moviegoing far ahead of time, the studios are happy to oblige.

Fox has staked out June 22, 2012 for ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER, director Timur Bekmambetov and producer Tim Burton's adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's historical/fiction mashup.

The project is currently searching for an appropriate actor to portray the bloodsucker-battling President. (STAR TREK 2 is currently scheduled to open a week later.)

Meanwhile, Universal has planted flags for several high-profile projects:

The Tom Hanks dramedy LARRY CROWNE arrives on July 1, 2011 and will have to fight for eyeballs with TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON opening the same day.

February 10, 2012: SAFE HOUSE, a thriller with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds

March 16, 2012: The action-thriller CONTRABAND, starring Mark Wahlberg and Kate Beckinsale

June 1, 2012: The UNTITLED JUDD APATOW COMEDY

August 3, 2012: The Damonless BOURNE LEGACY

November 9, 2012: The OUIJA movie, currently looking for a director

November 21, 2012: The samurai movie 47 RONIN, from Keanu Reeves and director Carl Erik Rinsch

December 21, 2012: The fairy tale SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, now courting A-listers like Johnny Depp and Charlize Theron

May 17, 2013: The first movie based on Stephen King's THE DARK TOWER, from director Ron Howard
