Live Updates! Super Bowl Sunday movie trailers: JoBlo.com has got you covered!

Feb. 3, 2013by:

Game day is upon us, Schmoes, and we here at JoBlo.com have got you covered for all the movie trailer goodness that will debut thoughout.  Fortunately for you, some of us have no interest in the game itself and are resigned to bringing you the trailers as they drop.  So, whether you're watching the big game or not, you can check back here throughout its duration as we update all the latest and greatest as fast as we can slap 'em up.  We'll be putting all the trailers in one article to keep it simple and give you a one stop refresh page to get the goods.  We won't stop until we have 'em all!

Below is a roster of what to expect.  Of course there could always be a few surprises, which we'll certainly toss in with the rest.

STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS - The new 30-second spot features a ton of new footage and some signature Star Trek sounds and themes.  Epic awesomeness from J.J. Abrams and the returning cast of the U.S.S. Enterprise. Additionally, it's been revealed that the film will be released in IMAX 3D two days earlier than planned, hitting the format on May 15, 2013!  Enjoy!

IRON MAN 3 - Expect a 60-second and 30-second spot for the upcoming sequel, starring Robert Downey Jr. as the titular Avenger, along with co-stars Don Cheadle, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Kingsley, and Guy Pearce. Here's the 30-second spot!

And here's the extended spot!

THE LONE RANGER - Disney has debuted a whopping 90-second trailer for their summer release, which stars Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp as the classic Western duo, helmed by PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN's Gore Verbinski.

FAST AND FURIOUS 6 - A 60-second spot for the sixth entry in THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS franchise has hit!  The summer release from director Justin Lin stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and, oh yeah, Gina Carano.

OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL - James Franco stars as the Wizard in Sam Raimi's prequel to the famed classic THE WIZARD OF OZ and Disney has premiered the already-teased spot to push you into theaters this March.

WORLD WAR Z - The long-delayed adaptation of Max Brooks' famed zombie apocalypse novel starring Brad Pitt has dropped.  Check it out below!

Also of note is the teaser for Stephen King's Under The Dome TV series, which kicks off a 13-episode run on June 24, 2013. The short Super Bowl spot should be enough to intrigue you. Head over to the official site to plug in your own address and see what happens. Very cool!

That's what we have confirmed for now, but as I said above, there could always be some surprises.  So, be sure to check in with us on Sunday, February 3rd and prepare for the trailer onslaught.  Remember, if you're stuck at a party without your computer, but have an internet-enabled smartphone, you can check us out on our mobile site.  You can watch the game and relive the trailers all at once!

See you back here on Sunday! Goooo, whatever-team-you-want-to-win!

The Super Bowl may not be on Friday, but this should get you pumped regardless...

Cool...

... But they're all pretty short. There wasn't one full trailer? Isn't that unusual? In any case, they're all good and have added to my desire to see them (except World War Z).

Not bad, but I wonder if it's possible to make a Star Trek movie where the Enterprise isn't totally jacked by the end.

Looking more and more like Shane Black has delivered with Iron Man 3. But you gotta love how in every one of his movies there's a piece of California beachfront property getting a surprise assault from bad guys in Bell 206 helicopters.

AND Lethal Weapon 2! Lets not forget what those Apartheid goons did to Riggs' trailer.

I'm sure there's an alternate ending to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang that has Corbin Bernsen dressed as Santa Claus doing a Kamikaze on his own Christmas party in a traffic chopper....

Fast & furious 6

Looks like we get what we always wanted lots of cars crashing and racing instead of some stupid subplot.

Trailers are awesome BUT.....

Im giving a green for the trailers. Trailers are ads right!.... then why do we have ads within ads. 10 seconds in I have to click close on stupid pop up ads that take away from the shear awesomeness that is these trailers. It shits me to no end. just saying.

Iron Man 3 takes the cake!

Wow! That mid-air Air Force One rescue looks crazy! Getting more and more excited for that one! Of course Star Trek looks awesome, and F&F 6 looks like a fun time too! I'm still not feeling WWZ though. I'm not gonna hate on it until I see it, but it just looks dumb to me. WAY too much CGI.

The Air Force One rescue scene from Iron Man 3 looks incredible...and I love that "extended look" joke. The Fast 6 trailer is cool too, from what little we've seen the car stunts feel tactile and not overly CGI-enhanced, which is always cool. And tank!

Iron Man 3

The Iron Man 3 trailer was great and SUCH a tease. The scene with him saving all of those people in the sky? Can't wait.

The world will fall

So John Harrison, Gary Mitchell, Khan, or anyone else, that no longer matters. All we need to learn from this trailer is Benedict Cumberbatch will be amazing.

Add Star Trek Into Darkness to that list. The TV spot will be shown during the second quarter.

IM3

im interested in the F&F6 trailer but the Iron Man spot is all I want for Christmas. in fact, skip the Lone Ranger and run Iron Man twice.

yea I'm not that interested in the super bowl myself. If the Lions had made it then maybe, but that would be a miracle! The Tigers got robbed this year! I'm definitely looking forward to Iron man, fast and the furious, and oblivion!

It'd be funny to see GIJoe 2 become the first flick to be be advertised in TWO Superbowls.

Oscar commercial time

i wish they would start selling off Oscar ad space to movie studios to promote movies. Up the price per spot, shorten commercial breaks making a tighter broadcast, and give the people watching the movie awards an exclusive look at movies to come.

It would be a great time to premier teaser trailers for "Worlds End", "Catching Fire", " Thor 2" and "Monster University". Among others

Nice, hoping for a teaser Thor 2 trailer. Mostly since I am curious on GOT's Alan Taylor's take on the movie.
