UK trailer for Terminator: Genisys, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger

The more I see from Alan Taylor's TERMINATOR: GENISYS, the more excited I am to finally check this badboy out when it hits theaters in July. Now we've got a new UK trailer for the Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring action-packed sci-fi flick, and this one pays off big time!

Titled "Payoff", this latest trailer gives us a bit more backstory and a lot of action in its 2 and half minute runtime, and it certainly does a solid job of selling this entry in the long-running franchise as being one to get excited about. I wasn't completely sold on TERMINATOR: GENISYS at first, but I've certainly come around to wanting to peep this come July.

When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future.

TERMINATOR: GENISYS stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J. K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Matt Smith, Courtney B. Vance and Byung-Hun Lee. It hits cinemas in the U.S. on July 1.
