Robert Pattinson Good Time

Robert Pattinson has certainly come a long way from his time starring in the TWILIGHT franchise alongside Kristen Stewart, and his latest film looks to be a far cry from his days as the sparkly vampire. Directed by the Safdie brothers, GOOD TIME finds Pattinson racing against the clock as he desperately attempts to save his brother after a botched bank robbery lands his sibling in jail. Also starring Jennifer Jason Leigh (THE HATEFUL EIGHT) and Barkhad Abdi (CAPTAIN PHILLIPS), the film garnered plenty of praise for its kinetic visuals as well as Robert Pattinson's "commanding" performance after its premiere at Cannes earlier this year. Being distributed by A24, the indie studio behind such movies as ROOM, SWISS ARMY MAN and THE LOBSTER, certainly doesn't hurt its chances either.

"This place where we are now can be a lot of fun if you let it. You’re going to have a good time."

The official synopsis for GOOD TIME:

After a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Constantine embarks on a twisted odyssey through the city’s underworld in an increasingly desperate attempt to get his brother out of jail. Over the course of one night, Constantine finds himself on a mad descent into violence and mayhem as he races against the clock to save his brother and himself, knowing their lives hang in the balance.

GOOD TIME is set for an August 11, 2017 release.
