GM yesterday revealed looks at four new cars featured in TRANSFORMERS at the "ten" pre-Oscar party. Says Mike Jackson, GM North America vice president, marketing and advertising of the partnership between Paramount's TRANSFORMERS and GM's vehicles: “It represents the perfect intersection of entertainment, marketing and design.” It's interesting that all of the GM cars are Autobots. “Bumblebee” changes from the classic Chevrolet Camaro.
“Autobot Jazz” converts from a Pontiac Solstice in a hardtop format.
A Hummer H2, modified as a rescue vehicle, changes into “Autobot Ratchet."
“Ironhide” changes from a GMC TopKick medium-duty truck.
