NFL legend Tom Brady may be retired from the gridiron grind, but he’s not done entertaining fans just yet. In his first move since putting down the pigskin, Tom Brady has announced that he will produce and act in a football-themed road trip movie titled 80 for Brady.

The project also stars Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field. Kyle Marvin, who co-wrote 80 for Brady with Michael Covino, will also direct.

Inspired by a true story, 80 for Brady revolves around four best friends and New England Patriots fans who take a life-changing trip to the Super Bowl LI to see their quarterback hero Tom Brady. As you can guess, chaos ensues as they navigate the wilds of the biggest sporting event in the country.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brady’s transition from football player to Hollywood hopeful was no easy feat. To develop the 80 for Brady movie, Brady enlisted the aid of Donna Gigliotti and the good folks at Endeavor Content. Brady will produce the film through his 199 Productions banner, with Gigliotti and Endeavor Content also producing. 80 for Brady is due to move into production this spring.
