A Serbian Film: Ultimate Directors Cut heading our way with new footage

One of the most disturbing (but well-made) flicks I have ever seen is the Serbian film called, well, A SERBIAN FILM. What the flick lacks in a clever title it more than makes up for with some of the nastiest, depraved images ever committed to celluloid.

Some of these images include… you know what, no, not gonna do it. Either you have seen the film and very well all the hell know what I’m talking about, or you haven’t seen the film in which case I don’t want to spoil the “surprises” for you.

Anyhow, if one of the most notorious movies of all time needs anything else in this world, it is an ‘Ultimate Director’s Cut’. And it looks like we’re getting one!

Evidently, at Texas Frightmare Weekend this past weekend, Stephen Biro, the head of Unearthed Films, told Dread Central that the company has landed the US rights to A Serbian Film and that they’ll be releasing an “ultimate director’s cut” that’s over 5 minutes longer than what’s been seen. 

The film’s director, Srdjan Spasojevic, also has over 60 hours of behind-the-scenes footage to cut into special features.

I know what you’re thinking, “does this mean we’ll be getting five more minutes of newborn-” I’m not even going to type that shite. At the moment I don’t know what the new cut will contain. That said, we will keep an eye out for all updates and let you know when we find out more.

A SERBIAN FILM synopsis:

An aging porn star (Srdjan Todorovic) who’s struggling to provide for his family agrees to make a film that, unbeknown to him, contains themes of pedophilia, necrophilia and may end with his death.

A SERBIAN FILM is directed by Srdjan Spasojevic from a script by Spasojevic and Aleksandar Radivojevic and stars Srdjan ‘Zika’ Todorovic, Sergej Trifunovic, Jelena Gavrilovic, and Ana Sakic (below).
