Thanksgiving is here again, and so is Billy Bob Thornton in BAD SANTA 2, so Awfully Good Movies is rushing in the holiday season a tad early with another sequel about an even worse Santa: SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT: PART 2! The first SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT was infamous for being pulled out of theaters after one week due to complaints from angry parents and critics who didn’t want to see their Santa Clauses beheading naked women with an axe, but the second one was infamous for…well, becoming the source of a YouTube meme. (Garbage day, anyone?) And with its shameless repackaging of footage from the last movie, it’s like watching two movies in one…two very awful and laughable movies. So if your Christmas list happened to ask for being stabbed in the stomach by an umbrella, getting impaled on a deer head, or getting strangled by a string of Christmas lights, then these killer Santas are more than willing to make your holiday wishes come true.
