BSAA Chris Redfield enlists the help of government agent Leon S. Kennedy and Professor Rebecca Chambers from Alexander Institute of Biotechnology to stop a death merchant with a vengeance from spreading a deadly virus in New York. Sounds like things are just as well as they ever were in the Resident Evil universe! For those of you who are more into the games than the live-action films, I give you the trailer for RESIDENT EVIL: VENDETTA!

I would have loved a decent film adaptation to the Resident Evil/Biohazard series, but that ship has sailed long ago! In the meantime, the animated features at least show off characters from the video games (better than the other movies), so I'm down with that! Vendetta doesn't look like it's going to change lives, but it might be a fun way to send off the Resident Evil of yesteryear before the new game hits.

RESIDENT EVIL: VENDETTA will be released sometime next year.
