Claire Foy cast as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl in the Spider's Web

So I guess we're getting yet another THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO reboot, this time going straight to the sequel THE GIRL IN THE SPIDER'S WEB. It will reportedly be helmed by DON'T BREATHE and the EVIL DEAD remake director Fede Alvarez. However, the burning question remains: who is going to play the hot goth hacker Lisbeth Salander, the titular "The Girl" of the series? Well, apparently taking on the black eye-liner and piercings is going to be Award-winning actress Claire Foy (of THE CROWN fame).

I don't know much about Foy (as I haven't watched THE CROWN or anything else she's been in), but she has some big studded boots to fill, as both Noomi Rapace and Rooney Mara did great jobs with the character, each with a unique take on Salander. If nothing else, however, I can totally imagine Foy pulling off the goth look well (though honestly I'm biased as I feel anyone looks better in goth make-up).
