ABCs OF DEATH 2 offers up a bevy of infectiously outrageous short films from a wide variety of filmmakers, and “W is for Wish” is one of the standouts. Directed by Astron-6 member Steven Kostanski (MANBORG), the segment invites you to see what it would really be like if you were transported to your favorite make-believe universe. Hint: It wouldn’t be much fun.
W is for Wish’s opening sequence has gone online, thanks to distributor Magnet Releasing, and it should give you a gruesome taste of what the short has in store. The saying “Be careful what you wish for” has never been so fitting.
