Cool Videos: Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke chastise audiences in this great Alamo Drafthouse PSA

JoBloJoBlo

Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke are so natural together on screen that BEFORE SUNRISE and BEFORE SUNSET almost feel like documentaries rather than fiction. Richard Linklater‘s series continues this year with BEFORE MIDNIGHT and once again will have the world fall in love with these two actors.

But, BEFORE MIDNIGHT is no longer an ode to new-found and re-found love but rather a look at how a married couple sustains their love. For anyone who has been married for several years, you can relate to the trials that these two deal with in the film. Along those lines comes this new PSA for the Alamo Drafthouse starring Delpy and Hawke in their BEFORE MIDNIGHT roles. As they perform, they break the fourth wall and Delpy begins to chastise the audience in French about turning off your phone and not talking in the theater.

This clip is perfect and I wish it would play in every theater. I love how the Alamo Drafthouse makes these PSAs and has a hell of a lot of fun with them. This may be my favorite so far.

BEFORE MIDNIGHT is now playing.
