Disney+ Lets Frozen II Go Early Amidst School Closings!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Fear not, Coronavirus worriers! Elsa is on the way! In a surprise move, Disney+ announced yesterday that it will be steaming FROZEN II much earlier than its intended release. I'm talking THIS SUNDAY, March 15th! Obviously this is in response to the extended stay-cation nearly everyone is currently stuck on until this stupid f*cking "Cyrus the Virus" gets whooped by long-haired Nicolas Cage (for all you youngin's, that was a CON AIR reference, which is another older movie you should seek out during this pandemic).

This is very cool of Disney+ and I will most likely be sitting down to watch F2 with the family this weekend. I only wish they would do the same with the new live-action MULAN, which just got bumped from its March 27th release date on account of the virus. Pretty sure that ain't happening, because the early buzz is strong for MULAN and the Mouse House needs to earn back those box office bucks! So we'll have to let that one go.

In case you don't already know about FROZEN II, I'm going to give you my kids' summation of the plot after they saw it with Mom in theaters: "Dad, you would have liked it. Elsa isn't the bad guy anymore. She has to go on another quest because her parents might not be dead. Anna and that guy with the reindeer join her too. Oh, and there's Olaf. He's the funniest!" I don't know about you guys, but after that description, I'm freakin SOLD!
