Judging from what we've seen so far, JUSTICE LEAGUE will have a decidedly lighter tone than that of it's predecessor, BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. It makes sense, given the source material as well as the initial backlash for BVS's dark tone. For those of you worried that Warner Bros. might lighten things up too much, we have some reassuring words from Director of Photography Fabian Wagner regarding the look of JUSTICE LEAGUE. He uploaded the following image and spoke a bit about his influence for the film. Take a look!

Wonder Woman Gal Gadot

Last year I was fortunate enough to work with Zack Snyder on his new movie JUSTICE LEAGUE. I had always been a fan of his work and of his long time cinematographer Larry Fong. I tried to put my own stamp onto it but Larry's dark and beautiful lighting was a huge source of inspiration. I had the best time working with all of those guys.

Despite Larry Fong's long-standing relationship with Zack Snyder on films like WATCHMEN and 300 (both of which are gorgeous films), I was not impressed with the visual aesthetics of BATMAN V SUPERMAN. Fabian Wagner has been spending the bulk of his time on Game of Thrones lately, so I'm curious as to what he'll bring to the table in terms of visual flair for JUSTICE LEAGUE. Then again, as long as the cast has great chemistry together, I'm game for whatever JUSTICE LEAGE has in-store!

JUSTICE LEAGUE opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.
