Edward Norton releases a statement on facebook regarding his dismissal as the Hulk

JoBloJoBlo

Most of you are aware of the drama that’s been going on between Marvel and Edward Norton this weekend.

It became a “representation said, the studio said” argument. Before it went any further, Norton finally decided to speak on his own behalf.

He took to his Facebook Fan Page to say this (click to enlarge):

Norton handles the situation rather gracious and respectfully. It makes me feel like he really wanted to make it work, but for whatever reason (money, etc) it’s not possible. While I wasn’t a huge fan of Eric Bana’s Banner, I did take to Norton in the role. In my opinion, he balanced everything that the Hulk/Bruce Banner embodied. But now we’ll have to get used to someone else in role.

Cue the “The Lonely Man theme”…
