The Grey Frank Grillo Joe Carnahan

Anything THE GREY director Joe Carnahan makes is a project that will have my full attention, and his latest film, an action thriller called BOSS LEVEL, definitely sounds like it's going to be something cool.

The film stars Frank Grillo (pictured above in THE GREY) as

a retired U.S. Army Special Forces veteran trapped in a never-ending loop, resulting in his death every day. In order to stop his endless suffering, he must figure out who is responsible and stop them.

Grillo's co-stars include Mel Gibson, Annabelle Wallis, Ken Jeong, Will Sasso, Mathilde Ollivier, and Naomi Watts.

Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios has now acquired the U.S. distribution rights to BOSS LEVEL, with the plan being to give the film a wide theatrical release in the U.S. sometime in 2019.

Entertainment Studios acquired these rights from The Fyzz Facility and Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films. E/F/O financed the film, which is a co-production between E/F/O, Di Bonaventura Pictures, War Party, and Scott Free.

Carnahan wrote the screenplay with Chris and Eddie Borey, and I'm excited to have a new Carnahan movie to check out next year.
