Elle Fanning is one of the most delightful young talents working today. With her terrific work in SUPER 8 and this year’s hit MALEFICENT, she is definitely looking to have a bright and impressive career. In her latest, the animated feature THE BOXTROLLS, she lends her voice to role of Winnie and once again shines brightly. She joins an already impressive cast including the great Sir Ben Kingsley, Richard Ayoade, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and so many more.
It is difficult to explain how infectiously vibrant this young talent is. The second you walk in the room and sit across from Ms. Fanning, she offers an enthusiasm and spirit that is impossible to resist. When I spoke with this wonderfully gifted young actress we discussed the role of Winnie and just what it is about her the character she enjoyed. THE BOXTROLLS is another success from the fine folks at Laika Studios and it opens this Thursday at a theatre near you.
