Exclusive Int: The Boxtrolls Directors Anthony Stacchi and Graham Annable!

JoBloJoBlo

You have to give serious credit to Graham Annable and Anthony Stacchi who co-directed the wonderful new stop-motion animated adventure from Laika Studios, THE BOXTROLLS. This unique and fanciful feature, based on the book “Here Be Monsters” is a family film with rich characters and something nearly everybody can relate to. It is a beauty to watch through and through.

When I sat down with both Annable and Stacchi – fans of this very site – to talk about their latest, they discussed the difficult process of bringing the rather long book to the screen. This painstaking and difficult process certainly paid off with these impressive filmmakers at the helm. It is sure to please families of all sorts. THE BOXTROLLS will be heading to theatres this Thursday, so be sure to check out this smart and perfectly funny film.
