Academy Award-winning creature designer-turned-director, Tom Woodruff Jr., releases the first look into the new demon fantasy franchise, FIRE CITY. Recently, a short film was released, titled “Fire City: King of Miseries”, and a comic book featuring its characters will be available online in conjunction with the premiere. We exclusively have the cover for the comic, which you can see below.

Here’s the synopsis for the FIRE CITY film, THE INTERPRETER OF SIGNS:

In a world where demons live secretly among us, one demon goes against his own nature to save a young human girl from dark forces too evil even for him to bear.

Woodruff partners with first-time Writer-Producers, and creators of the world, Brian Lubocki & Michael Hayes, who promise fans a brand new mythology of demons with decades-worth of content. That content includes a trilogy to follow “The Interpreter of Signs,” video games, a demon book compendium, and a fully realized demon tarot card set that is featured in the short film.

You can find out more info on THE INTERPRETER OF SIGNS on the film’s Facebook page HERE. You can also watch the short film, which acts as a prequel to the forthcoming film, below.
