The only thing I ever seem to hear about SILENT HOUSE is that Elizabeth Olsen is starring in it. After I found this poster for the film, I learned a couple of interesting tidbits.
SILENT HOUSE is a remake of Uruguayan film LA CASA MUDA, which was released last year. The film apparently is also shot in one continuous 88 minute take in real time. I don’t know if I completely believe that, but who am I to disagree? The story follows, “a young woman whose panic grows into terror as she finds herself sealed inside her family’s crumbling lake house with no way to contact the outside world.”
