The only thing I ever seem to hear about SILENT HOUSE is that Elizabeth Olsen is starring in it. After I found this poster for the film, I learned a couple of interesting tidbits.
SILENT HOUSE is a remake of Uruguayan film LA CASA MUDA, which was released last year. The film apparently is also shot in one continuous 88 minute take in real time. I don’t know if I completely believe that, but who am I to disagree? The story follows, “a young woman whose panic grows into terror as she finds herself sealed inside her family’s crumbling lake house with no way to contact the outside world.”
The poster for the film captures the look of terror on Olsen’s face. I don’t think we actually posted up the trailer here on JoBlo, so I’ve embedded it for your enjoyment. Check it out below.
