Twentieth Century Fox's upcoming new spin on the classic tale of FRANKENSTEIN will hit theaters on January 16, 2015, and today the first ever behind-the-scenes look at the film has made its way online and we've got it right here. In the photo we see Daniel Radcliffe's Igor, who will star alongside Jessica Brown Findlay and James McAvoy. It looks like Radcliffe has found a comfortable home in the horror genre, and we're glad to have him!
There has still been no word on an official plot synopsis for the Paul McCuigan-directed flick, but it has been said to put a new spin on the FRANKENSTEIN story with some sci-fi elements, instead of following the classic Marry Shelley novella. Recently the film moved away from its original release date of October 17, 2014 to the now January 16th, 2015 date to possibly distance itself from Universal's DRACULA UNTOLD which is slated for an October 2, 2014 release.
It will be interesting to see if Lionsgate's I, FRANKENSTEIN box office numbers will affect the release of this one any further—I hope not, dammit.
