12 YEARS A SLAVE is your 2014 Best Picture according to the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts, and Sciences, but the real winner is MOVIE 43. The ensemble sketch comedy film starring everyone from Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet to Naomi Watts and Halle Berry was a commercial and critical disaster and pretty unfunny to boot. But, it can now enter the annals of movie history as one of the worst of all time.

MOVIE 43 was up against stiff competition that also included AFTER EARTH, GROWN UPS 2, A MADEA CHRISTMAS, and THE LONE RANGER. But, Jaden Smith did nab the Worst Actor trophy while his dad won Worst Supporting Actor. All I can say is that while MOVIE 43 did have some laughs, there was nothing redeeming about AFTER EARTH at all.

In a shocking and cruel twist, GROWN UPS 2 won no Razzies at all. Somehow, Adam Sandler was given yet another free pass to make shitty films. This, my friends, is a miscarriage of movie justice and should swiftly be corrected. Light the torches!
