Ghostbusters 3 not dead?

Last Updated on July 27, 2021

According to Ernie Hudson, GHOSTBUSTERS 3 is far from dead. Just to clerify, I’m talking about the movie. The video game is very much in the works. But back to the movie, Hudson told The Money Times:

“Danny Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, I know they want to do another film. It would be great if we could get back together again.”

Now granted, this is not really new news, but to hear it come from Hudson is intriguing. And as Moviehole.net points out, Aykroyd has scripts for two whole new GHOSTBUSTERS features in his drawer, and he was also toying around with the idea for a CGI film for GHOSTBUSTERS 3.

It’s no secret that Bill Murray isn’t gung-ho about this franchise, but hey, they got him to lend his voice for the video game right? And as the old saying goes.. ‘Money talks.’ (It’s not just a Chris Tucker movie.) So in my opinion, a GHOSTBUSTERS 3 movie isn’t out of the question. It’ll probably bank on how well the video game does, which I’ll definately be picking up.

As always, we’ll keep an eye on the situation and bring you any updates.
