So this cool! On a Reddit AMA yesterday, Godzilla vs. Kong director and co-writer Adam Wingard – a noted horror fan – revealed that the biggest film of the year literally has a reference to the notorious horror flop Jason X! Here's the pertinent quote:
The big reference that I haven't seen anyone pick up on is when Kong folds up and kills Nozuki (aka warbat) that was inspired by the holo deck murder scene in JASON X when Jason picks up the camper in their sleeping bag and smashes them around.
