The new international poster for HANSEL AND GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS plays up the gun-toting aspect of the revisionist fairy tale flick. Renner goes all John Woo on our asses while Gemma Arterton plays the crossbow– what more could you ask for?
The flick looks to be one of the more admittedly cheesy action/horror outings of 2013, but it’s a January 25th release, so I’m going to give it a pass. As the first Hollywood outing from Tommy Wirkola (DEAD SNOW), I figure we owe it that much. The film stars Renner, Arterton, Famke Janssen, Peter Stormare, Zoe Bell and Derek Mears. With a line-up like that you shouldn’t need a nifty new poster, but check it out below just the same.
