“American Horror Story” season 2 adds yet another: Clea Duvall

The institution at the center of “American Horror Story” Season 2 keeps on adding residents.

The latest is Clea Duvall (IDENTITY, THE FACULTY) whose role, like everyone else’s, is undefined at the moment. The new season is set at an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane, but we don’t know much beyond that.

Duvall joins a large cast that includes Jessica Lange, James Cromwell, Chris Zylka, Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, Adam Levine, Mark Consuelos, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe and Zachary Quinto. The new season premieres this October.

Just yesterday, “American Horror Story” nabbed a rather amazing 17 Emmy nominations, the most of any show (it tied with “Mad Men”).
