First trailer and updated synopsis for She Rises brings the weird

Ready for your morning dose of weirdness?

Back in November we learned that SAW III and IV star Angus Macfadyen and HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION's Daisy McCrackin had joined the cast of Blanc/Biehn Productions SHE RISES and a month later we got a look at the first poster art for the Larry Wade Carrell-helmed flick. Today we have the first teaser trailer for the film as well as an updated synopsis to share with ya, and this trailer certainly delivers on the weird. I'm not sure what to think of it, but I know I'm diggin' it. Check it out for yourself below.

Working from a screenplay by MacFadyen and based on a story by Lony Ruhmann, Bradley & Kevin Marcus, and MacFadyen, SHE RISES concerns… 

A bickering Hollywood couple get lost while driving back from a location in the badlands of America. They’re making a B horror movie but they once had ambitions for so much more. It has made them bitter and resentful. They bring that energy into the humble abode of Rosebud, a young naif who puts them up for the night. Connor, the actor, turns on the raconteur charm, and convinces her they want to cast her in the movie they are making. Kat, the director, just happens to have a camera and turns it on. What happens next is a descent into the cinematic underworld of their worst imaginings, and back. For Rosebud is not the lamb she seems to be. And these two Hollywood swingers, are not predators, they are prey. And they’d better start praying!
