Taissa Farmiga is in talks to return to American Horror Story

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM will say adiós today, but as we told you a couple of days ago, co-creator Ryan Murphy is already cooking the third season of his FX hit mini-series. Do you recall Violet, Tate's girlfriend from the first season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY? Well, that girl is in talks to return for season 3. Farmiga would be one of the leads of AHS‘ third round and would join Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters.

Murphy affirms that he missed her in the season: “There wasn’t really a role for her. I feel very protective of her and I didn’t want her to go back into the loony bin. It was too dark. So I thought well I want Taissa to be one of the leads next year. I called her up and pitched her the character for the season and she loved it and she said, ‘Yes let’s do it.’ So we’re in negotiations for her to headline season 3.”

Maybe this is a clear hint that the third season will have a lot of romance and we know that AHS' romances are full of blood!

The third season will begin around Halloween season.

Extra Tidbit: Raise your hand if you want Alexandra Breckenridge (the sexy nurse from the first season of AHS) on the third season!
