The fellas behind Broken Lizard have been bringing the funny for awhile now. From the cult favorite Super Troopers to Club Dread, the comedy troupe continue to bring a bit of joy to fans. You could even find Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme taking on the small screen with the terrific comedy, Tacoma FD over at TruTV. Yet with their latest, Quasi, they take the sweetness up a notch, and still manage to make you smile. Yes, it’s great to see Kevin, Steve, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, and Jay Chandrasekhar back for another flick together. And they are joined by the terrific Adrianne Palicki. It’s truly a laugh and smile inducing good time.
Recently, I spoke with the crew. For Kevin, Steve, Paul, Erik, and Jay, they talked about how long it took to make Quasi. As well, they revealed who played what, and how they would interact in this charming new flick. I really appreciate these guys. Quasi arrives on Hulu this Thursday, and frankly, if you dig Broken Lizard, it’s a must watch. Quasi is funny as hell.
Quasi has the following synopsis: A hapless hunchback yearns for love, but finds himself in the middle of a murderous feud between the Pope and the king of France when each orders the hunchback to kill the other.
