Jessica Biel investigates a baffling mystery in Limetown series trailer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Everyone knows that life is full of little mysteries, but what if one day something so bizarre happened that no amount of logic or reasoning could explain it?

Today Facebook Watch has unveiled a trailer for LIMETWON, a 10-episode series based on the podcast of the same name. For the conspiracy-driven drama, we follow American Public Radio journalist Lia Haddock, who becomes obsessed with investigating the disappearance of 326 people from a neuroscience research facility in Tennessee. Ready your tin foil hats, my friends, because LIMETOWN is poised to venture into some real-deal conspiracy-type business.

Leading the show is BLADE: TRINITY and PETE THE CAT actress Jessica Biel, who also serves as the show's executive producer. Joining her to help sort the strange happenings of Limetown are Stanley Tucci (SPOTLIGHT, THE WITCHES), Marlee Matlin (CHILDREN OF A LESSER GOD, THE L WORD), Kelly Jenrette (THE HANDMAID'S TALE, FRISKY DINGO) and John Beasley (WALKING TALL, THE SUM OF ALL FEARS).

While Facebook Watch isn't the most popular of streaming platforms, it's worth noting that LIMETOWN offers something new and exciting for the service. With a few big names attached to the project, and a fair amount of positive buzz hailing from the show's Toronto International Film Festival premiere, it could be that LIMETOWN will help put Facebook Watch on the map.

The first two episodes of LIMETOWN will make their Facebook Watch debut on October 16th.
