Jigsaw hits IMAX this Halloween; Plus new posters!

This year marks the return of the SAW franchise to theaters every single Halloween for the rest of our lives. Too much? We'll see… But seriously the new SAW film is coming this Halloween and we just caught some slick new poster(s).

On top of that, the poster lets us know that JIGSAW will be hitting IMAX!

I know, I know, we heard the same thing about IT, but then got nada. But in all fairness, the news of JIGSAW hit IMAX comes from the film's poster! As opposed to IT's IMAX news which slipped out from the producer's Instagram. Big difference.

What do you think? Is IMAX really the place to see a SAW flick? Even if it is this new, glossier, brighter version? Hurm. I'm not sold, but if I'm going to fork over the cash to see this in theaters might as well be IMAX, right? Maybe.

JIGSAW synopsis:

Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be? The man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade. Or has an apprentice picked up the mantle of Jigsaw, perhaps even someone inside the investigation?

JIGSAW is directed by Michael and Peter Spierig from a screenplay by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger and stars Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Clé Bennett, Hannah Emily Anderson, Laura Vandervoort, Mandela Van Peebles, Paul Braunstein, Brittany Allen, and Josiah Black. 

JIGSAW is scheduled to reach theaters (and IMAX) on October 27th.
