Jeff Goldblum recreates the shirtless Ian Malcolm scene from Jurassic Park

Oh, Jeff Goldblum. You're a national treasure. The JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION actor joined forces with HeadCount in order to urge voters to register to vote, check their registration, or request absentee or mail-in ballots. The actor promised that if 1,000 people did just that via a link he provided, he would recreate a scene from JURASSIC PARK. When people hit Goldblum's goal, the actor recreated the Chaos Theory moment from JURASSIC PARK with Sam Neill and Laura Dern, and promised that he would deliver another JURASSIC PARK recreation if they got 1,000 more voting actions

The people have spoken yet again and Jeff Goldblum has delivered a recreation of what has quite possibly become the most iconic moment for his character in the original film – shirtless Dr. Ian Malcolm. Enjoy.

Although brief, this particular scene has spawned numerous recreations, from statues to Funko Pops to gifs, but Jeff Goldblum told Yahoo! back in 2018 that he actually created the moment in order to add more believability to the scene. "It’s supposed to be Costa Rica, right? So things are hot and I’m sure I’m in some sort of fever," Goldblum said. "So all the logic is that we gotta get some of these wet clothes off immediately. As I remember, I don’t think anybody fought me on that." Universal recently shut down production on JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION for two weeks after new COVID-19 cases popped up, but they have also pushed the release date back to June 10, 2022.
