Me, You, Madness Ed Westwick Louise Linton

As we reported a couple months back, CABIN FEVER remake co-star Louise Linton has written, directed, and produced a dark comedy called ME, YOU, MADNESS, in which Linton also stars alongside Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick. Now a "first look" image from the film has arrived online that shows Linton and Westwick's characters sitting on a couch together… and it looks like they've been having a rough time.

ME, YOU, MADNESS tells the story of

a young thief who, while casing a secluded mansion in Malibu, discovers he is robbing the home of a serial killer.

Filming on ME, YOU, MADNESS began in November in downtown L.A. and Malibu, but was then interrupted by the devastating Woolsey Fire. Production resumed last month and has since been completed.

Linton had this to say about the movie:

Thanks to my killer crew and cast, the movie is every bit the playful '80s homage I dreamed of when I wrote it. It was a joyful set, even under pressure. Ed Westwick is a phenomenal actor, collaborator, friend and creative force who became my co-pilot on many creative aspects of the film."

ME, YOU, MADNESS is now in search of a distributor. I don't think it will be too hard for a "playful '80s homage" to find a home.
