The guys over at
Bloody-Disgusting have scored yet another casting update for the
horror flick THE BURROWERS; and some interesting choices have been made.
The cast had already been stocked with the likes
of
Doug Hutchison, Clancy Brown and William Mapother. Now joining
them will be Sean Patrick Thomas (
HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION ), Karl Geary (
MIMIC 3: SENTINEL), Jocelin Donahue and Laura Leighton.
THE BURROWERS was written/directed by J.T.
Petty
and tells the story of a band of courageous men who set
out to find and recover a family of settlers that has mysteriously vanished from
their home. Expecting the offenders to be a band of fierce natives, the group
prepares for a routine battle. But they soon discover that the real enemy stalks
them from below.
I’m digging the sound of THE BURROWERS
already; it’s been a while since we’ve had a TREMORS sequel and I need me
a fix of underground monsters. THE BURROWERS will come to theatre’s
sometime in 2008.
