Back in November, we learned RUSH star Daniel Bruhl had joined CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, but there weren't any details on his role in film, other than the fact he'll be playing an antagonist.

Many assumed Daniel Bruhl will appear as Captain America baddie Baron Zemo, and a casting call for the upcoming movie has confirmed Bruhl will play the villain. There are two Baron Zemos in the Marvel comics (Heinrich and his son Helmut), and the casting call is more than likely referring to the younger Zemo. Like his Dad, Helmut wants to save the world by taking it over, and in the Civil War comics, Iron Man asks Helmut to help recruit villains for his cause.

The casting call also revealed a synopsis for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR.

In Captain America: Civil War, billionaire Tony Stark is pitted against Captain America aka Steve Rogers in an ethical face-off over the U.S. government's Superhuman Registration Act, which requires all superhuman individuals register their powers and report to S.H.I.E.L.D.

What are your thoughts on Daniel Bruhl playing Baron Zemo in The Russo Brothers movie?
