The CW's 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' was without a doubt one of the biggest television events in superhero history, and now Arrowverse showrunner Marc Guggenheim has announced that all five episodes of the crossover event will be included on a bonus disc for both the ARROW Season 8 Blu-ray set as well as the ARROW: THE COMPLETE SERIES collection! Both are set to be unleashed on April 28th, so you'd better start stashing a bit of coin away now, lest you want to get left behind.

To be clear, the inclusion of the 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' bonus disc is so far only set to be included in the North American release. In other words, we've no idea if the UK version will receive the same content. If you live outside the U.S., and are looking forward to this collection, I would do your research before purchasing the wrong item.

So far, Guggenheim has yet to confirm whether or not the 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' bonus disc will arrive on DVD as well. Of course, our fingers are officially crossed for those who've yet to make the jump to Blu-ray. That said, I recommend that you investigate all angles related to the ARROW box sets before surrendering your hard earned cash.

As you're likely to know, The CW's 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' crossover event saw characters from all corners of the Arrowverse uniting for a common purpose, to vanquish the threat of an antimatter wave set to destroy countless parallel universes. The event saw heroes from shows like ARROW, SUPERGIRL, THE FLASH, BATWOMAN, THE LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, BLACK LIGHTNING CONSTANTINE, LUCIFER and even SMALLVILLE joining together to fight the good fight. While some heroes triumphed, others were lost, thus re-shaping the Arrowverse as we know it.

Be sure to check your box sets accordingly to make certain that you get the most bang for your buck. ARROW Season 8 and the ARROW: THE COMPLETE SERIES box sets will arrive on shelves come April 28th. Happy hunting!
