The Runaways take their revolt on the road in new Season 2 teaser trailer

Hulu has unleashed a new teaser trailer for Marvel's RUNAWAYS Season 2, which has the kids hitting the road in an attempt to escape The Pride, a criminal organization made up of their own parents as well as other nefarious supervillains. When the new season kicks into high gear, the Runaways have left their homes (and insidious parental units) behind and now have to learn to live on their own. As they scavenge for food, search for shelter, and take care of one another, the kids begin to realize that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other. Moreover, it’s up to them to take down PRIDE once and for all. However, someone had sent a mysterious message to Jonah before the close of Season 1… Is there a mole in the Runaways? Meanwhile, PRIDE is focused on finding their children, and Jonah has his own dangerous plan in mind. Dun dun dunnnnnn!

The series stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, and Allegra Acosta as the group of wayward teens. Meanwhile, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, Kip Pardue, and Julian McMahon make up the cast of evil adults who're hoping to place the unruly teens in a permanent time out.

As a major fan of the first season of Marvel's RUNAWAYS, I must say that this teaser has the show looking even better than before, and that's really saying something. This time out, there looks to be much more action, humor, betrayal, and displays of superpowered heroics for all to enjoy. While I'm sure that some fans might have found the slow burn of Season 1 to be a bit much, it looks to me like Marvel is hoping to win them over by giving the group a much larger playing field while out on the open road. I have a sneaking suspicion that things are about to get crazy, and I am here for it.

All episodes of Marvel's RUNAWAYS Season 2 will be available to stream on Hulu beginning on December 21st.
