In the middle of a routine patrol, officer Daniel Carter happens upon a blood-soaked figure limping down a deserted stretch of road. He rushes the young man to a nearby rural hospital staffed by a skeleton crew, only to discover that patients and personnel are transforming into something inhuman. As low-budget as this flick seems, it still succeeded it presenting some really creepy imagery. I don't think that subtlety will be the name of the game here, and that's probably for the best! Director Jeremy Gillespie has had some serious art department experience in films like SUICIDE SQUAD and PACIFIC RIM, so let's see if that pays off when this flick hits theaters!
THE VOID hits select theaters on March 31st and DVD/Digital on April 24th.
