New Overlord trailer is here to get you excited for Nazi zombie carnage

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Zombies are horrible. They claw at you with severed fingers and gnash their decaying teeth, all so that they can get at your delicious human meat. But the only thing worse than zombies? Nazi zombies. These undead goose-steppers with a thirst for blood and genocide are dangerous foes, and they pose a serious and scary threat for the soldiers in the new movie OVERLORD. The new trailer for the movie finds the American troops trapped behind enemy lines and up against an army that’s so much worse than the regular Nazis they were fighting before. The tension is heavy, the gore is bountiful, and craziness is cranked to 11. Time to go to war with Nazis…and zombies…nazi zombies.

There’s been a lot of secrecy around this movie, but with J.J. Abrams as a producer that should be expected. The only trailer we’ve had before was the main one released some time ago, featuring plenty of gunfire and AC/DC’s “Hells Bells.” This trailer does not add any new information, but it does have some new, grotesque footage with all the great reviews for the movie spliced in to let people know the movie is not only bloody, but it’s good too.

Here is the full synopsis:

With only hours until D-Day, a team of American paratroopers drop into Nazi-occupied France to carry out a mission that's crucial to the invasion's success. Tasked with destroying a radio transmitter atop a fortified church, the desperate soldiers join forces with a young French villager to penetrate the walls and take down the tower. But, in a mysterious Nazi lab beneath the church, the outnumbered G.I.s come face-to-face with enemies unlike any the world has ever seen.

Starring Jovan Adepo, Wyatt Russell, Pilou Asbæk, Mathilde Ollivier, John Magaro and Iain De Caestecker OVERLORD is in theaters November 9.
