Without the benefit of stars like Denzel Washington and John Travolta and the directing skills of Tony Scott, I probably wouldn’t give a remake of THE TAKING OF PELHAM 123 much thought. Watching the new trailer it doesn’t seem like the kind of thriller that we haven’t seen before (and obviously so as this is a remake of a cult classic). Yet I can’t say that I count myself out of this at all. Something in this trailer makes me thing that while this might not be the most original movie in the history of cinema, it could certainly be quite entertaining. I mean Denzel is going to stop the bad guys and pick up milk on the way home! Check out the trailer below or head to Yahoo! Movies to see it in HD and let me know if I’m crazy on this one…
