Psycho-Thriller Braid starring Madeline Brewer hits theaters in February

"Everyone Plays. Nobody Leaves"

First-time writer-director Mitzi Peirone's psycho-thriller BRAID starring Madeline Brewer (The Handmaid's Tale, CAM), Imogen Waterhouse (NOCTURNAL ANIMALS, The Outpost), and Sarah Hay (Flesh and Bone, BLACK SWAN) premiered at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, and has since been called "one of the most eye-opening and wickedly singular genre film debuts in years."

And today we have the red-band trailer and poster to share with you guys. The trailer plays out like a mini-version of OCEAN'S ELEVEN mixed with something from Nicolas Winding Refn's nightmares. With possibly a little hair-style THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE going on as well. It's a kneecap busting delight. But kinda hard to decipher. Not to mention the poster (see below) is basically a work of modern art. Bring it on, I say.

You can check out the red-band trailer and poster for yourself below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know if you plan to check out Mitzi Peirone's psycho-thriller BRAID once it hits theaters and On Demand this February.

Synopsis:

Two wanted women decide to rob their wealthy yet mentally unstable friend who lives in a fantasy world they all created as children. To take her money, the girls must take part in a deadly and perverse game of make-believe throughout a sprawling yet decaying estate. As things become increasingly violent and hallucinatory, they realize that obtaining the money may be the least of their concerns.

BRAID is written and directed by Mitzi Peirone and stars Madeline Brewer, Imogen Waterhouse, Sarah Hay, and Scott Cohen. Arielle Elwes and Logan Steinhardt produced. Michael Gatt provides the film's score. The movie hits theaters and On Demand via Blue Fox Entertainment on February 1, 2019.
