Robert D. Krzykowski The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot Sam Elliott

There's a movie in existence called THE MAN WHO KILLED HITLER AND THEN THE BIGFOOT, and it stars Sam Elliott. That's all I need to know about it to make it one of my most highly anticipated upcoming releases, and thankfully we're now a step closer to seeing that film get released in North America.

RLJE Films has acquired the North American distribution rights to THE MAN WHO KILLED HITLER AND THEN THE BIGFOOT and are planning to release it in theatres and on VOD and Digital HD in the first quarter of 2019.

The feature debut of writer/director Robert D. Krzykowski (what a way to announce yourself to the world!), the film has the following synopsis:

Decades after serving in WWII and assassinating Adolf Hitler, legendary American war veteran Calvin Barr must now hunt down the fabled Bigfoot. Living a peaceful life in New England, the former veteran is contacted by the FBI and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to lead the charge as the creature is carrying a deadly plague and is hidden deep inside the Canadian wilderness.

Elliott plays Calvin Barr and is joined in the cast by Ron Livingston, Caitlin FitzGerald, Larry Miller, and Ellar Coltrane, with Aidan Turner also in there as a younger version of Barr.

Krzykowski produced the film with Lucky McKee, Shaked Berenson, and Patrick Ewald. John Sayles served as executive producer alongside Douglas Trumbull, Louise Lovegrove, Giles Daoust, Catherine Dumonceaux, Deborah Shriver, and John Shriver.

Our own Chris Bumbray got to see THE MAN WHO KILLED HITLER AND THEN THE BIGFOOT when it made its world premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival this past summer. His review of the film can be seen HERE.
