That's one way to stage a reunion! Selma Blair, who co-starred with Sarah Michelle Gellar in the teen cult classic Cruel Intentions, got together with her one-time movie kissing partner but not in the way you may be thinking.

Blair was at an estate sale in Los Angeles and noticed a cardboard cutout of Sarah Michelle Gellar from her Buffy The Vampire Slayer days. The actress was then photographed with the cutout and she took to her Instagram stories to post some funny pictures of the cutout in various locations at her home. My personal favorite features the cutout looming over Blair's son while he's in bed. Who better to protect you from the potential big bad than Buffy The Vampire Slayer, right? In another Instagram Story, Blair posed next to Gellar's cutout and wrote over the picture "When your BFF is away working, this seems the only option @sarahmgellar." You can check out some of the images below!

Cruel Intentions arrived during the teen movie boom of the late '90s but managed to stand out a bit because it embraced its R-rated tendencies and seemed like the "naughty" film you weren't really supposed to see. In addition to Gellar and Blair, the film also starred Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon and was a modern-day adaptation of the 1782 novel "Les Liaisons dangereuses", written by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. The teen version, which already had been given the big-screen treatment with the more prestigious 1988 adaptation, Dangerous Liaisons, moved the action from 18th century France and set its story among wealthy teenagers attending high school in New York City. The film follows two vicious step-siblings of an elite Manhattan prep school that make a wager to deflower the new headmaster's daughter, who happens to be a virgin, before the start of termDespite receiving mixed reviews from critics, Cruel Intentions became a hit upon release, grossing $76.3 million worldwide on a $10.5 million budget. The movie has gone on to become a bit of a cult classic and Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair have remained best friends since the release of the film.
