Sharknado 2 swims into theaters for one night only this month!

Can’t get enough SHARKNADO? Dying to see Tara Reid on the big screen just for old times sake? Fathom Events, Syfy and The Asylum are scratching your itch for you later this month, when SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE hits cinemas nationwide for a one-night event: Thursday, Aug. 21 at 8 p.m. local time.

That’s not all: Fathom Events fans will also get a sneak peek into the making of the film with 10 minutes of exclusive, never-before-seen footage including a look into the special effects, hilarious bloopers and more.


Tickets for SHARKNADO 2 are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. The event will be presented in more than 400 select movie theaters nationwide through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network.

In Sharknado 2: The Second One, Fin and April are back as a freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado on the population and its most cherished landmarks.
