Who’s a wittle metal guy? Who’s a wittle metal guy? You are, Silver Surfer! Yes you are! Ye-whoa, okay dude, sorry, you don’t have to get all bent out of shape. Aaand scene. Yes, courtesy of USA Today, that’s your first glimpse of Silver Surfer brooding the shit out of everything over there to the right. Digging it? I know many of you have already written off FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER. Does this change anything? The pic actually looks kind of like an Alex Ross to me. Avi Arad had some comments to accompany the image: ”[The Surfer] will look somewhere between gun metal and fluid metallics so you can see the body motion, the breathing, the muscle tone, the mood.” You can get your first look at the Silver Surfer in action this weekend when the teaser trailer debuts in front of at least some prints of NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, a trailer that, according to AICN and our own scooper Jesse, is simply a single scene played straight through a la what Fox also did last summer for THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. Click HERE for a very positive description of the teaser/scene. And head HERE or click on the pic to get a full look at the Surfs. FANTASTIC FOUR 2 opens June 15th of next year.
